Motorcycle run from the historic Olvera Street in downtown Los Angeles to Chicano Park, Barrio Logan in San Diego.
Tripp Productions will be producing the third annual La Raza Run, a motorcycle run from historic Olvera Street in downtown Los Angeles to Chicano Park, Barrio Logan in San Diego.
The run is a showcase of the Chicano/Latino influences on the motorcycle culture.
Riders will be meeting at the Placita Olvera at 8:00 am and leaving at 9:00 am. A mid point stop will be made at Quaid Temecula Harley-Davidson where other riders will be waiting for the Los Angeles riders. After some pan dulce, cafecito or abuelas chocolate, the entire group will leave together at 11:30 to the final destination, Chicano Park, San Diego. Last year over 3,500 people gathered for festivities which included food, live music, vendors, an artist exhibit and an altar dedicated to the memory of fallen riders. Chicano Park activities will take place from 1 to 6 pm. Following the park event, an after party will be held at Cabo Wabo Grill just minutes from the park.
A photo slide show and ride video will be featured along with VIP raffles and door prizes. A second day of activities will kick off Sunday morning with a Menudo & Mariachi breakfast from 10:00 am to noon followed by juegos de Vicleros - motorcycle games from noon to 4pm.
