Latino Extras Needed for Short Film: Sat 2/25 & Sun 2/26

Hola a tod@s!!!

We need background actors/extras for a heart wrenching drama about a Latino family, directed by a Mexican-American director, and written by a Venezuelan screenwriter, both from the American Film Institute Conservatory (AFI).

We need to film a "middle class Latino wake/velorio" between Saturday 2/25 and Sunday 2/26. We need as many extras/people as possible. Being an extra, you will NOT be required to speak or act. You just have to wear black/dark clothing, and appear to be in mourning. Sounds easy enough, right?

Unfortunately, we cannot pay anyone for appearing in the film, but we do promise a free lunch!

The filming will take a few hours, and there are 3 different shifts. If you could please help with just ONE of them, we would be so grateful:

1st shift: Saturday 10:30am* - 2:00pm*
2nd shift: Saturday 3:00pm* - 7:00pm*
3rd shift: Sunday 9:00am* - 2:00pm*
(*times are tentative right now, and will be confirmed closer to weekend)

All scenes will be shot at:
Mountain View Cemetery
2400 N. Fair Oaks Ave
Altadena, CA 91001

If you can make it, please respond directly to the email listed or call Ian at (203) 507-5052 for more info. And don't be shy, please bring as many people as you possibly can. All family and friends from ages 18 - 60 are welcome as long as they dress in black/dark clothing (no young children please).

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! This a great opportunity to work on a legit film shoot and to meet and network with up-and-coming Latino professionals in Hollywood!
