CHIVAS Brotherhood Marcando el Camino Holds 2nd LA Event

Earlier this year the CHIVAS Brotherhood launched their Marcando el Camino series with the purpose of engaging professionals in the LA Hispanic community. Stories were told and friendships were formed. Building upon the success of their first event, CHIVAS once again created a space where entrepreneurs and established professionals alike came together to share their experiences and forge future partnerships.

This was the 2nd event in the CHIVAS, Marcando el Camino series. A series of fun, social, "networking" events where LA Hispanic professionals and influencers can meet and mingle over delicious appetizers, great music and of course CHIVAS cocktails.

Attendees to this exclusive event consisted of both emerging and established members of the Hispanic professional community from various industries and organizations. As a follow up to the first event, members of the Marcando el Camino community were sent special invitations as they are now members of the Brotherhood.

In addition, these previous attendees were asked to extend invitations to those that inspire, or have inspired them throughout their career, creating new connections. New guests were also invited, thus growing the Marcando el Camino community and the possibility of forging new friendships and partnerships.

To continue the initial concept of Marcando el Camino, CHIVAS also hosted a special presentation to recognize the achievements of 6 local individuals who have accomplished success in various industries including banking, art, community, politics and non-profit, be it through community service, professional accomplishments, and/ or mentorship. Among the honorees were, Delia Orjuela, BMI (VP Writer/Publisher Relations, Latin Music), Axel Caballero, Cuentame (Founder/Director/Producer), Chef Aaron J. Perez (Chef Aaron J. Cuisine), Maria Segovia, (VP of Pacific Western Bank), Alfred Fraijo Jr. (Partner, Sheppard Mullin), and Antonio Pelayo, (Inker, Painter, Head of Special Effects - Disney Animation Studios).

"We at Chivas are honored to recognize these outstanding individuals who not only have thrived in their own careers, but have shared their success by giving back to the community," said Cristian Olave, Chivas Brand Ambassador at Pernod Ricard USA.

Playing the right music is another key to success where people feel and identify with a mix of modern and hometown traditional music. Providing the musical backdrop that fused the old and new, reinforcing the new and established relationships being created amongst attendees was LA's own DJ Santi.

This event demonstrated that CHIVAS continues to lead this inspirational connecting platform. As the Marcando el Camino Brotherhood grows, CHIVAS reminds you to raise your glass, always in moderation.
