Something Different ... and Liquid ... for a Change

Alright!...first time on this section on LatinoLA called Gusto y Sabor...(Frankie looking around...)...not bad! LOL !

Thought I'd share something different for a change...some delicious drinks you probably won't find at most clubs & bars, but aren't too bad when you have GOOD company probably have different names for them, but hey!... can't we be friends?

Here's a couple of mine ... watcha!

1) The Home-girl Next Door:
~ 1/2 cup of good quality, clear, Tequila
~ 1 & 1/2 cup of natural guava juice
~ 1 cup of crushed ice
~ 2 -oz of clear rum
Pop this baby in the blender and let it ride till it turns smoothie. 2 of these will give you more than a brain freeze and a smile!

2) The Southern Soul Spinner:
~ 1/2 cup Southern Comfort
~ 1 & 1/2 cup orange sherbert
~ 1 cup crushed ice
~ 2 1 oz. shots of vodka
Pop this baby in the blender and let it ride till it turns smoothie. A ver que pasa...

3) Brave Bull Running Thru East L.A.
~ 1 full shot of Cuervo Gold Tequila
~ 1 full shot of Kahlua
~ 2 full shots of Presidente Brandy
Put in an 10 oz glass of ice, then fill with Dr. Pepper...damn, that's sweet !

In a large, freezer chilled beer glass, preferably a 32 ouncer:
~ 24 oz can of cold Tecate
~ 1/3 cup of Clamato juice
~ 1 teaspoon of Tabasco red pepper sauce
~ 1 full shot of vodka
~ a LARGE squirt of lemon (usually cut one in half & SQUEEZE!)
~ couple dashes of salt

After a hard night on the town, wake up and drink this down, accompanied by a hot bowl of menudo with plenty of pata, onions, cilantro, oregano, maybe a dash of powered chili, and another good squirt of lemon ...guaranteed to come out just out of one end, and it won't be the top one...and you'll be ready for the early morning afternoon game on TV, feeling SO FINE !

Orale, that's all I got for now...any and all other suggestions for YOUR favorite trouble...put them out right here!
