Honey, Your New Portable Beauty Secret

Now that you're settled into 2013 and busy planning out the rest of this year's activities, the time has come to reward yourself with some much deserved pampering. Whether you're relaxing at home or traveling for your job, we all like to give ourselves some "me" time, especially if this time can be made extra sweet with natural ingredients you have right at home. Renowned image consultant and makeup artist Mauricio Burgos has partnered with the National Honey Board to develop an exclusive line of honey-based treatments that can be prepped and packed for the road or a place on your vanity in just a few steps.

Mauricio's experience working with high profile women from all walks of the limelight (former Miss Universe beauties Alicia Machado and Amelia Vega; telenovela stars Gaby Espino and Ang?®lica Vale, to name a few) has taught him that every woman ÔÇô no matter how busy ÔÇô strives to emanate a clean, effortless look. A proper beauty regimen is essential to achieving this look, and it all starts with a nourished base. A unique and all-natural ingredient, honey is a humectant with antimicrobial properties. By incorporating honey into your routine, you'll rescue your skin in ways that you're sure to see and feel.

"Keeping skin hydrated is essential for refreshed, luminous skin," explains Mauricio, "and with these all-natural portable honey treatments you don't have to leave your beauty regimen at home; you can bring it with you everywhere!" From a Hydrating Eyelash Honey Balm & Makeup Remover to a Honey-Cinnamon Emollient Night Mask, Mauricio has taken honey to the next level. And since he's no stranger to handling a tight schedule, his convenient beautifiers are the travel-friendly options that fans of natural skin products have been waiting for, and they're the perfect companions for the daily trip to the office, weekend getaways and more.

We've all had moments of lacking enough time to give skin the attention it deserves; however, the more wear we go through during the day, the more important it becomes to replenish our skin by moisturizing ÔÇô and what better way to do so than with an all-natural humectant like honey. This is especially true for delicate areas such as the skin around the eyes, neck and d?®collet?®, all of which Mauricio has catered to with his unique recipes.

The National Honey Board and Mauricio Burgos offer six individual treatments to give your beauty regimen for 2013 and beyond an all-natural makeover.
