America Ferrera will graduate from USC on May 17th, earning her bachelor's degree in international relations after starting the program at USC in 2002 and taking a leave of absence during her work on "Ugly Betty".

Former Guatemalan dictator Efrain Rios Montt was convicted of genocide last week in connection with massacres and other crimes committed during his rule between 1982-1983. Montt was sentenced to 50 years in prison for genocide and another 30 years for crimes against humanity.
Malcolm Shabazz, the 28-year-old grandson of Malcom X, was killed in Mexico City after a reported violent dispute over a $1,200 bar tab. Two men, employees of the bar, have been arrested in connection with Shabazz' death, caused by blunt-force trauma injuries.

Univision is reportedly developing a Spanish-language adaptation of "Breaking Bad" for its UniM?ís network for 2014.
Dewar's launched it's "Dewaristas" campaign, featuring Juanes as its spokesperson, a live band competition that will seek to discover the next breakthrough talent in Latin music. Events will be held in New York, Miami and San Antonio and the winning band will open for Juanes in Miami in September. Univision announced at its upfront presentation that it has made a strategic investment in Robert Rodriguez' El Rey Network, slated to launch in December 2013. As part of the deal, El Rey will lead the curation of the network's content while Univision will handle back office operations, sales and distribution for El Rey.
