Active Fox Productions: Small Company Makes Two Big Films

Our production company, Active Fox Productions, is a small independent company making big moves. In this business it is very difficult to make films without the backing of a major studio. Joey Dedio is a Latino who has managed to do it. But in order to be completely successful, we need the support of those who want to make a difference.

Active Fox Productions completed two award-winning films that are both releasing nationally on September 6th, 2013.

"TIO PAPI" is a family movie that is rated PG.

It is about a bachelor (Joey Dedio) who inherits his sister's six children after she dies unexpectedly. It is an inspirational film about love and what matters mostfamily.

"TIO PAPI" has been honored at the following festivals and award ceremonies:

HBO Latino NY International Film Festival 2012
WINNER: Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival 2012 winning the Spirit of Independents Award.
San Diego Latino International Film Festival 2013
WINNER: Cleveland International Film Festival 2013
WINNER: Rincon International Film Festival in Puerto Rico 2013 winning the Best Director's Choice Award.
Cinemagnifico Alburquerque Latino Film Festival 2013
WINNER: St Louis Missouri Children's Festival winning Best Family film.

It has also been honored by the Screen Actor's Guild Foundation in NY, LA and Miami as well as being recognized by the Mayors Offices in each of these cities.

The CAST had been invited to be present at the Bronx Puerto Rican Parade in NYC on June 2nd, The National Puerto Rican Parade in NYC on June 9th, The Chicago Puerto Rican Parade on June 15th and at the prestigious Hispanic Festival in Philadelphia on July 11th.

Joey Dedio, the film's star, creator, writer and producer was recently featured in NBC Latino.

Active Fox Productions also has another film releasing September 6th: "36 SAINTS" starring Franky G (Italian Job, Saw 2).

"36 SAINTS" is a film that is breaking Latino stereotypes. It is being compared as the Latino "Cosby" Show.

"36 SAINTS" is being reviewed as a spiritual suspenseful thriller for young persons comparing it as "SEVEN" meets "THE DAVINCI CODE."

It stars some of the hottest young talent gracing our screens today.

"36 SAINTS" was recently screened at the Soho International Film Festival in April 2013 to a sold out audience.

The film will make its debut at the Philadelphia Wizard World Comic Con at the end of May as well as New York Wizard World Comic Con at the end of June and in August it is to be featured as one of the main attractions at Wizard World Comic Con Chicago.

Joey Dedio is really making things happen: Not only in the Latino world, but in independent film period. He is being called 'The Latino Tyler Perry'. He is a great producer and his hard work and contribution to the community should not go unnoticed. His heartfelt stories are putting Latinos in great inspiring roles that are breaking stereotypical barriers around the world.

We at Active Fox Productions, helmed by Dedio, are very excited about the possibilities of working with you to help us spread the word.

We thank you here from Active Fox Productions and tell people to watch out for us. We are finally here!
