Aztec Fitness: Train Like a Warrior!


Aztec Fitness is an exercise program inspired by the ancient dance of the Aztecs. This class implements the movements and the rhythms of the popular Aztec Dance.

This exercise routine utilizes the traditional Aztec Dance steps through choreography. This class consists of a combination of different movements that will engage all muscle groups, helps develop endurance, flexibility, coordination and balance. It also brings significant toning and cardiovascular benefits.

The use of live drumming and cascabeles (ankle shells) makes this class fun and unique. It is guaranteed to burn up to 350 calories during this one and a half hour session.

I would like to invite people from our community to try this innovative class and learn about the Mexican ancient culture through a fun and dynamic fitness program.

My goal with Aztec Fitness is to help diminish obesity among people from our community in a fun and cultural way.
