Alicia Jimenez To Help Underserved Families Buy Their First Home


Union Bank announced that Alicia Jimenez has joined its Consumer Lending team as a community loan officer. Based in Ventura, Jimenez is responsible for introducing customers to Union Bank's Economic Opportunity Mortgage (EOM) product to meet the lending needs of low- to moderate-income and multicultural communities in Ventura County. The EOM is designed for individuals with low- to moderate-income households or who are purchasing or refinancing a property in a qualifying census area. Jimenez reports to Vice President and Regional Sales Manager Mike McCormick.

"Alicia has a wealth of banking and real estate experience that will be a great asset to our organization as we continue to grow and reach more customers in our diverse communities" said McCormick. "With Alicia's focus on meeting the needs of clients and strong ties to the community, we are confident she will help serve our customers in the Ventura County seeking a home mortgage."

Jimenez has 15 years of financial services and real estate experience. Most recently, she served as a mortgage consultant with Bank of America. Previously, Jimenez served as a real estate agent with Keller Williams. Prior to that, she was a loan processor with Wells Fargo and a senior teller with Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.

Jimenez is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and is a past member of the Ventura County Coastal Association of REALTORS?«. Active in the community, she volunteers with Casa Pacifica, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, Rescue Mission Alliance, United Way, and local schools. Jimenez attended Ventura College where she studied business administration.

Union Bank's Consumer Lending group originates the bank's loans to consumers, which includes residential mortgages.
