El Pueblo: A Photographic Exhibition

The public is invited to attend a new photographic exhibit opening, entitled "El Pueblo: A Photographic Celebration," which will be held on Saturday August 17, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

It will be held in historic Pico House, on the plaza in El Pueblo de Los Angeles. The exhibition features the photography and vision of The Los Angeles Photography Project, a consortium of Los Angeles based photographers, whose purpose is to photograph the diversity that lies in L.A.'s people, architecture, and natural and cultural environments. The photos for this exhibition were all taken in El Pueblo and its immediate surroundings.

The exhibition opening is sponsored by El Pueblo Park Association and will be catered by El Paseo Inn, a local eatery located on world famous Olvera Street.

The exhibition will be showing until September 16, 2013, and open on Tuesdays through Sundays from 10:00 am ÔÇô 3:00 pm.
