Nestl?® USA, under its El Mejor Nido ("The Best Nest") platform, and Superior Grocers launched a campaign specifically designed to help families in the Los Angeles metro area prepare and enjoy healthier, balanced meals at home. As part of the campaign, 10 local chapters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America will also receive a total of $50,000 in donations to help strengthen their efforts to provide nutrition education to its members.
This week, Nestl?® USA and Superior Grocers sponsored the first dinner as part of the "Set the Table" program. During the event, more than 150 members of Boys & Girls Challengers Clubs enjoyed a commentary healthy meal.
Also Councilmember Curren Price of the 9th District of Los Angeles shared some thoughts about the importance of having a healthy lifestyle, and Kellee McQuinn, founder of KidTribe, was the hostess of the event.
