Tickets are now available online for Grandes Maestros: Great Masters of Iberoamerican Folk Art, Collection of Fomento Cultural Banamex at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County (NHM). The exhibit marks the American debut of an extraordinary display of more than 800 objects by hundreds of living masters of folk art from 22 countries throughout Latin America, and Spain, and Portugal.
‘«ů Colorful masks, Intricate textiles, hand-carved miniature sculptures, yarn paintings, clay animals, religious and political retables--associated with daily use or ritual purpose and immersed in the traditions and identity of Iberoam?ģrica.
‘«ů The new temporary exhibit galleries will present colorful and intricate objects in a crisp, modern setting that allows visitors to get close to the art without glass panels or obstruction.
‘«ů The Grandes Maestros Gallery Store, a special shop adjacent to the exhibit exit, will be dedicated to unique artisan-created objects of the Great Masters.
‘«ů NHM will host a series of public programs complementing the exhibit, starting with a multi-sensory Latin Festival of hands-on activities, music, food, and more on November 9.
