Gracias Por Tu Inspiracion y Amor


The public is invited to attend and participate in "Gracias Por Tu Inspiracion y Amor" the Annual Dia De Los Muertos Juried Art Exhibition at El Pueblo Gallery on Olvera Street. The exhibition is dedicated to thank all those who affected our lives during this last century and left an impact of leadership and love for humanity. The gallery will be filled with Altars, original artwork, and the "Mailbox to Heaven" (www.MailboxToHeaven.com).

This is event is supported by Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard. Dia De Los Muertos Juried Exhibition is presented by Ginette Rondeau, Curator, Rondeau Fine Arts

Performance and gallery blessing by ballet folklorico "Iztaccihuatl".

1st Street Elementary School will create an altar dedicated for children who have died around the world. There will be over 200 children who will participate. Maytee Pinchinte will be having a Sugar Skull workshop where the public can decorate their own. She will demonstrate October 17 during the Artists' Reception and every weekend during the exhibition.

Location: El Pueblo Gallery, E-13 Olvera Street in the heart of Olvera Street
Exhibition Dates: October 17 through November 9, 2003
Times: 11 AM - 4 PM, Closed on Tuesdays (Times may be extended on a daily basis)
Opening Night, Artists' Reception: Friday, October 17, 2003 at 7 ? 10 PM
Award Ceremony: Sunday, November 2, 2003 at 7 PM
