La Bulla is proud to welcome the talented actor and comedian Aurelio Miguel Bocanegra and beautiful print model Amanda Garcia as co-hosts of this year's event. Bocanegra keeps a very busy schedule these days acting by day and entertaining audiences by night at comedy clubs throughout the country. He was most recently spotted on the hit TV show Bones (Fox) and will next be appearing in the soon to be released film, Fighting Chance. Co-host, Nicaraguan-Irish born Garcia, started her modeling career while still in high-school and has since graced the covers of several lifestyle magazines including Retro Lovely, Skinz Magazine and Tattoo Life Magazine.
La Bulla adopts a night-time, outdoor, interactive art gallery format with live performances by some of today's hottest Latin alternative bands including La Resistencia, El Sonido Callejero, Profesor Galactico and Kotolan. This extraordinary event will also include vendors, crafters and live Lucha Libre. One of the highlights of La Bulla is the participation of writer/producer/director Sergio Arau, best known for his breakout indie feature film A Day Without a Mexican. Arau is also a celebrated musician and artist who coined the phrase "Art-Naco" which is a style that is still emulated by many of today's popular artists.
