Day of the LAST Dead Show at the Underground Art Tunnel

The Antigua Underground Art Tunnel will be presenting one of the last Dias de los Muertos events of the 2015 season as part of the North Eastside Art Walk, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 5PM. The Art Tunnel is located next to Antigua Coffee at 3400 N. Figueroa Street, (Eastside!) Los Angeles, 90065.

We will have art of new and emerging local artist, works by mentors who helped open the doors for the artist since, artist selling prints and artisans selling their work both in time for the up-coming holidays and for that last Day O' Dead fix. There will be alters, information about other businesses and art spots in the Eastside and beyond doing good things, and a chance for community to gather and celebrate.

We have created an alter for a big supporter of the Art Tunnel, Antigua's own Maestro, Richard Duardo. Richard was very gracious with his time and insight regarding the Art Tunnel and participated numerous times even using the coffeehouse as a moving gallery to promote his shop Modern Multiples and display some great work by early and current Chicana/o artist. If you would like to contribute to this alter, please feel free to do so. You can drop in any day the shop is open or on the day of this event.

Join us in an evening of remembrance, celebration, and community building.

Any artist or artisans interested in participating please contact Gary De La Rosa at
