The decks are laid, the samplers are set and Hennessy is gearing to turn up the heat and ignite music fans with the hottest mixes from local Latin DJs. Urban Movida, Hennessy?s new Latin music movement will spotlight the freestyling talents of well known spinners, R.A.W, DJ Vice and Eric Cubiche.

On a mission to expose Latin DJs and find the trendsetters on the local Latin music scene, Hennessy is inviting club hoppers to attend ?Urban Movida,? an invitation-only event to be held at Union Station in Los Angeles on November 13th. At the event, fans will be treated to a VIP night of energy-driven music spun by the city?s top rising DJ and local Latin spinner.

?Hennessy is the brand that makes memorable events happen,? says John Santos, brand manager, Hennessy Cognac. ?The ?Urban Movida? event will bring the energy and attitude of the underground trends into the spotlight. The vibe and experience will be totally unique.?

Hennessy Urban Movida in Los Angeles will spotlight the talents of DJ artist R.A.W., known for his fusion of dance floor and battle style mixing and creation of electro style tracks. At the event, Hennessy Urban Movida will also recognize the flair of DJ personalities Vice and Eric Cubiche. Vice mixes for Power 106 during the Cali-Caliente Powermix on weekends and often spins a combination of House, Trance, and Break Beats. Eric Cubiche is The Beat 100.3 personality during the B-syde show. Cubiche began djing at 17 and has been recently linked with LATV?s hip hop show.

Extending the brand?s legacy of support to charities and organizations in the Latino community, Hennessy will also make a $5,000 donation to local AIDS charity The Wall/Las Memorias Project to support AIDS education in the Hispanic community.
