The General Consulate of Mexíco in LA, has appointed Dr Martínez, founder & director of Cinema Culturas, as Curator of 100 films coming from the Mexícan Archive which will be screened at various locations, universities and public libraries and cultural centers throughout Los Angeles, Ca.

Dr. Martínez curated the films based on two focal groups the general public and film fan and academic institutions.

Over 150 screenings have already been programmed and USC, UCLA, Cal Arts & New York Film Academy are some of the academic institutions that are hosting the films series (films are in Spanish with English subtitles).

Cinema Culturas is bringing the film series to the Inland Empire and will be working with different institutions to host the film series.

If you would like to get a story out on this exciting project for the Latino community and a wide range of audiences in the IE, please let us know so we can arrange an interview with Dr. Martínez.
