To Stand Above The Night


When by a setting sun
Darkness veils the land
And despair has all but won
Obeying orders of the night
Like infinite birds in flight
Stars merge with light
As if dreams to get on by

So if every star is a dream
And if dream is a star
Then every man has right
To be that bird in flight
To stand above the night
Because for every man
On the ground
There?s plenty of hope
To go around
Given the size of the sky
It can be found
