Frank Sanchez and his wife Julia purchased their first McDonald's in East Los Angeles back in 1982, and today he owns franchises all across Southern California. With McDonald's restaurants in Los Angeles, Victorville, Apple Valley, Oceanside, San Juan Capistrano and San Diego, the growth is the result of his entire family's hard work and dedication, as he, his wife and his two children, Marisol and Francisco, are all McDonald's owner-operators.
As an owner-operator, Frank has been recognized with numerous awards, such as the McDonald's President Star Award and the Top 100 U.S.A. Restaurant Operations Award. He's also a former member of the National Leadership Council and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California (RMHCSC) grants board. He also previously served as chair of the RMHC/HACER Scholarship Program – a position his daughter, Marisol, now holds.
While he's proud of his accomplishments, Frank is most proud of his children's educational and professional achievements. He's excited to see them carry on the family legacy of being owner-operators and active members of the community. Frank is passionate about contributing his time to numerous organizations, and is currently a member of the Catholic Education Foundation, the UCLA School of Medicine Board of Governors and the UNIHEALTH Foundation, to name a few.
Frank hopes that his story inspires other Latinos to dream big and start their own family legacies as well.
