Don Cheto Rules Spanish-Language Morning Drive in L.A.

LBI Media, the largest privately held, minority-owned Spanish broadcasting company in the U.S. announces that its Los Angeles flagship radio station KBUE-FM and its morning drive show "Don Cheto Al Aire" was the #1 Spanish-language radio show during the month of September 2017.

According to Nielsen Audio Research , "Don Cheto Al Aire" was the #1 Spanish-language morning drive show in Los Angeles among Hispanic Adults 18-49 and 25-54, Monday-Friday 6a-10a during the month of September.

The show revamped its production team and format in 2016, and added two new sidekicks: Gisselle Bravo and El Chino. These changes have contributed to the morning show's steady growth in ratings and popularity. This month, "Don Cheto Al Aire" also launched its first app, which is now available on all Android and Apple devices. The app offers various shows in their entirety, as well as special segments, a chat room, and social media feeds.

"Don Cheto Al Aire" is a family friendly radio proposition with universal appeal among Hispanics of all ages, genders and lifestyles. Since it first aired in 2006, and throughout the years, the show has ranked #1 in various markets across the U.S. without regard to language, and has consistently featured distinguished guests such as Hillary Clinton, Tim Kaine, and Vicente Fernandez, to name a few.

Don Cheto Radio Network launched its first affiliate in 2009. To date, the radio network has presence in more than 31 important markets across the U.S.
