A new 90-minute show plays tribute to the pillar of Latino music

From the producer who set the pace for the US mariachi explosion and who pioneered the Latino entertainment industry, Rodri J. Rodriguez now debuts her new creation, ?M??Mariachi Passion & Tradition, on the Las Vegas strip. ?M??Mariachi the first year-round, Latino-themed show on the Vegas strip will launch on Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at the V Theatre in the Desert Passage.

?M??Mariachi opens for Memorial Day weekend, one of the busiest weekends in Las Vegas. The 90-minute show is a brilliant ensemble show cast, with stellar musicians & excellent vocalists who will showcase Mexico?s gift to the world, the passionate music that is mariachi. The cast of 15 delivers standing ovation performances. Show features will include a tribute to Mariachi Legends.

?It?s a natural to take our shows to Las Vegas after years of entertaining the world on the road. Now the world will come to ?M??Mariachi in Las Vegas, a destination drawing record audiences looking for quality entertainment, says, Rodriguez, executive producer.

Famed producer and Las Vegas icon, John Stuart whose ?Legends in Concert? show has been playing in Las Vegas for 20 years says, ?I know success when I see it and Rodri?s magnificent ?M??Mariachi has wide audience appeal and the power for longevity that could easily surpass any show on the strip.?

Rodriguez is CEO of Rodri Entertainment Group and has been producing live concerts internationally since 1975. This June one of her creations, the MARIACHI USA Festival celebrates 15 years of sold out success at the world famous Hollywood Bowl.

Show times: Tuesday - Sunday at 10:30 p.m. to 12 midnight, plus a 1p.m. matinee performance on Sundays. Tickets: $77, $66, $55 for evening shows and $66, $55, $45 for matinee show, available at 702-892-7790 or 888-MLASVEGAS.
