Vengo a Cobrar

With his 4th album, titled Vengo A Cobrar, Mellow Man Ace is back to reclaim the Latin Hip Hop genre he created.?

The debut of his first album entitled Escape From Havana on Capitol Records, gave the world the #1 hit, ?Ment?rosa? (Liar), which became the recipe to follow for Latin artists who wanted to rap in Spanish. Mellow Man Ace created a unique style of rap that traded off between his native tongue Spanish and the English he learned in school in what he called it ?Spanglish?. Mellow would not only be the creator of ?Spanglish? but also the first Latin rap artist to reach Gold and Platinum sales in the U.S. and Latin America.

After taking a partial hiatus from the limelight and refocusing on himself and rebuilding his energy, Mellow Man Ace is centered and ready to go back to his first love. Apart from writing songs and guest appearing on the Cyprus Hill's Spanish Album "Los Grandes Exitos de Cypress Hill," which received Billboard?s Latiin Rap Album of the year 2000 and a Gold Album in Mexico, Mellow Man Ace received one of the most important accolades of his career as he was inducted into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame.

Mellow Man Ace will be releasing his forthcoming album "Vengo A Cobrar" (I Came To Get Paid) this June through Dimelo Records. This well anticipated LP combines radio-friendly tracks with mass appeal hooks and well planned lyrics. With this latest album Mellow Man Ace reveals himself as a lyrical and musical genius that brings something different and revolutionary to the hip hop table. Don?t miss it!
