Latina Magazine scored the first post Marc Anthony/J Lo nuptial interview with Anthony's ex, Dayanara Torres. In the interview, featured on the cover of the August edition of Latina, Torres reveals that because of her divorce to Anthony and his unexpected marriage, she has yet to tell her children about the divorce, or their new stepmother.

Nominations for the 5th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be announced on July 14th 9:30 am at the Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Imagen Foundation announced its nominees for this year's Imagen Awards, which honors positive portrayals of Latinos in the entertainment. Topping the list is Robert Rodriguez's "Once Upon A Time in Mexico" with six nods, as well as Argentine film "Valentin" for Best Picture, Guillermo del Toro's "HellBoy" for Best Direction.

J-Lo is denying rumors that she might be cutting loose her manager, Simon Fields for her ex-label boss, Tommy Mottola.

George Zamora, former president of Warner Music Latina and multiple GRAMMY Award winning producer Sergio George, today announced a joint venture to form a new record label dubbed SGZ Entertainment. The label will be based in Miami, FL and will cater to the Urban and Tropical genre.

The New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) returns for a fifth year this July 27 - August 1. The festival opens with Arenas Entertainment's "Imagining Argentina", starring Antonio Banderas, Emma Thompson and Ruben Blades. The line-up also includes Sergio Arau's "A Day Without A Mexican", Marisol Torres' "Boricua", and many others.

Univision has filed a lawsuit against Nielsen Media Research in the Superior Court of California, in an effort to stop Nielsen from launching its LPM (Local People Meter) service in Los Angeles. The suit alleges that Nielsen is engaging in unfair and unlawful business practices by utilizing flawed sampling and weighting methodologies, dramatically undercounting young Hispanic Americans and large Hispanic families.

Urban-regional artists Akwid released their sophomore album "Komp 104.9 Radio Comp" last week. The CD features 12 new tracks in a radio show format, and is also available in a CD/DVD combo package, with 3 videos, 2 from the first album, and the new single "Jamas Imagine".

AT&T is launching "Todo Latino!", a collection of Spanish-language wireless Web sites, available on AT&T Wireless' mMode. Content includes the latest headlines from Mexico, Puerto Rico and Latin America, news and info about all major Latin American and Spanish soccer leagues, as well as baseball and other sports, entertainment news, multi-track Latin ring tones, Walter Mercado Horoscopes, and weather forecasts.

"Sonidos - Volume 4: Latin Legends" airs this Sunday, June 27th at 11:30 am on CBS 2 in Chicago. This installment takes a look at Julio Iglesias, Celia Cruz, Hector Lavoe, Mana, Juanes and others. The Sonidos series is produced by AIM Tell-A-Vision and Maxima's Productions, the award winning producers from Urban Latino TV.

Carlos Santana has teamed up with Baja Fresh Mexican Grill restaurants to offer a limited edition CD for sale, with proceeds to go to the Milagro Foundation - an agency that supports children and youth in areas of health, education and the arts. The CD "Food for Thought" will go on sale July 13th and will feature 10 songs, four of which are new, one written by his son Salvador, and one never released recording from his archives. Santana is also being honored by the 5th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards as "Person of the Year", recognizing his professional, cultural and social accomplishments.

Si TV, the English-language Latino themed network, has secured $60 million in funding from industry giants EchoStar, Time Warner and others. The network launched this past February and is in over 7 million homes featuring original programming such as The Drop, Styleyes and The Rub, as well as favorites like Malcolm and Eddie, New York Undercover and Urban Latino.

The New Jersey state Senate approved Roberto River-Soto as the first Hispanic ever to sit on the state's Supreme Court.

Ganemos Fuerza! is a Spanish-language voter registration campaign to encourage Latino participation in the election, by simply calling 1-800-604-0404 to register to vote. The Ganemos Fuerza staff will be registering people to vote at the Reventon concert on July 24th in Anaheim at the Arrowhead Pond. Reventon features performances by La Ley, Cafe Tacuba, Aleks Syntek, Paulina Rubio and others.

Univision Radio appointed Timothy Ward as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ward was previously serving as VP and Treasurer.

The Southern California Chevrolet Dealers Association launched "Driving Hope for Children with Cancer", a charitable initiative to benefit the children and families of Padres Contra el Cancer. Throughout the month of June, ten local Chevrolet dealers will donate $25 to Padres for every new vehicle sale or lease.

For the first time in history, the US Latino tv audience will get its own Spanish-language telecast of Major League Baseball All-Star Game Midsummer Classic on July 13th through Fox Sports en Espanol. The network will televise the 2004 - 2006 MLB All-Star Games under a sub-license from Fox Broadcasting Company.

Minasnet Entertainment's LatinoMusical.com is a new online entertainment store focused on the Hispanic market, offering a large selection of previous viewed movies, CDs and video games.
