Dance Your Latin Butt Off

Although it's called The Mexican Village, this small authentic Mexican adobe
style restaurant/club sizzles with salsa and merenge beats every night except Sunday. When you walk into the club you'll feel like Norm on "Cheers". Everyone greets each other as if you are at your Tia Lupe's family gathering.

I frequent the Mexican Village almost every Saturday evening so I can dance with fellow Central and South American dance-a-holics. The Mayan is just too clique-y and snobbish and not to mention overpriced. This club's dance floor gyrates with enthusiasm from 21 year-olds to grandpa and his new young wife. It's basically a club for everyone. I even took my mother, my aunts and my abuelita one night. Oh yeah, the food is excellent!

It is truly one of L.A. hottest, hidden night spots.

They are closed on Sundays. Cover charge is only $5.
