Fashion for Pooches and People

As a little girl in Mexico, my sister and I used to sell mom's baked goods and other goodies such as paperback "novelas" in order to have a little spending money.

I grew up pobre pero con mucho amor. Not having a lot of money taught me to be creative.
So I learned to sew my own purses by seeing my mom make dresses for my sisters and me. Since I was little I loved fashion.

I have always wanted to have my own business in something that I have a passion for. My passions are fashion and pooches.

After I graduated from college, I realized that one day I would love to create something people loved and see them enjoy it.

I mentioned to my husband Ryan that I would love to start our own business. That was the defining moment in creating Uptown Pooch.

Ryan is handy and can create about anything he sees. His parents taught him to be handy and resourceful. From the time Ryan was a baby he grew up around pooches.

With my love for animals and fashion and Ryan's natural craftiness and love for pooches, Uptown Pooch was born.

We create handbags, quillows, and other accessories for people and pooches. It is an awesome feeling to see a human or pooch customer sport one of our creations.
