This month, Telemundo 52 kicks-off a first-of-its-kind campaign: Tu Eres Telemundo - Haz el Click featuring every day Los Angeles Latinos? in its city-wide campaign which includes TV & radio spots, billboards, bus shelters, ads on the sides of buses, and other forms of media.
Tu Eres Telemundo - Haz el Click, showcases photographs of Los Angeles Latinos? in everyday life situations as the back-bone of this campaign and the community as a whole. From mothers to children, bakers to restaurant-goers, teachers to students, Tu Eres Telemundo - Haz el Click celebrates Telemundo viewers from Baldwin Park to Huntington Park, Downey to Long Beach, Compton to the San Fernando Valley, and South Pasadena to Wilmington.
"Los Angeles has never seen a campaign that establishes such a direct connection with our people, honoring the Hispanic community for their contributions to the growth and success of this vibrant City," said Manuel Abud, vice president and general manager, Telemundo 52. "We want to celebrate the star-like qualities in all our viewers as well as celebrate the richness of our culture."
Aspiring stars will be ?discovered? as they have their photos taken by Telemundo 52 street teams in local neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles. The first stop was at the Cinco de Mayo festival at Whittier Narrows where over 150,000 people were entertained and exposed to Telemundo 52 signage and programming. Over 800 pictures were taken, some of which will be on-air starting on May 2nd.
The photographs will also be turned into television commercial ID?s to promote the Tu Eres Telemundo - Haz el Click contest, which prompts viewers who see their photo in designated hours of prime time to call a toll-free number within one hour and win a Telemundo 52 prize pack, including 4 annual passes to Universal Studios Hollywood.
