A Bailar el BB Kings

The A&M Entertainment Group made people get up and dance recently at BB King's Blues Club in Hollywood by presenting a line-up filled with talent and art.

Kicking things off in style was Stoic Frame, who took the number one spot in the Radio & Records rankings, setting the pace for an unforgettable night.

Emaue with their electro-retro style, brought a great vibe with their 70's type sound. While there was a technical difficulty caused by the lead singer's ring being on the microphone, those in attendance enjoyed the music and were then anxiously waiting for the ska bands to hit the stage. _

La Banda Skalavera's energetic performance stole the night, by playing their hits like "No Esta Mal" which spent many weeks on El Calabozo Radio's top 10 list. Their cover of "Vasos Vacios" made us remember the legendary, late great Celia Cruz. To close out their set "Los Skalaveros" treated the audience to a cover of Los Fabulosos Cadillac's classic "Mal Bicho." This got the crowd on their feet and dancing on this awesome ska night.

A short while later, Santos de Los Angeles made their presence on stage with some candles. This created an inviting atmosphere in the already energized BB King's. Songs like "Morena" and "The Sweetest Thing", which we've heard with Yerba Tribe made those in attendance sing in unison. The surprise of the night were their interpretations of "Alma Mia" and "La Negra Tomasa" which brought euphoria to those in attendance.

The evening's festivities were brought to a close by Viva Malpache with songs like
"Lo Que No Fue, No Sera" and "Sin Verguenza" among others. Malpache, who are without a doubt one of the best professional Ska bands, topped off one of the best shows ever produced by A&M Entertainment.
