Veronica Valenzuela is not your typical Southern California twenty-four year old. Unlike most women her age, she spends the majority of her time designing styles and graphics for her own silk-screen clothing and accessory company Lil? Punker N? U. A Whittier native, Veronica has emerged as a successful small business owner within just a few years. Her niche - designing couture clothing for kids.

Veronica was inspired by the birth of her niece and nephew, Alyssa and Jake, to create the clothing line. Realizing the lack of children?s clothing for those seeking sub-culture fashions, Lil? Punker N? U was the obvious next step. Veronica was also able to turn a tragic event in her life to fund the initial first run of products.

In 2002 her father passed away of Cryptococcal Meningitis. Veronica and her father shared a very special bond and his death impacted her greatly, but she was determined to turn his death into the greater good. She took the money her father left her and invested it into Lil? Punker N? U.

Resolute in overcoming adversity Veronica has dedicated herself to becoming a strong businesswoman in the fashion industry. Aside from designing all styles, Veronica manages the company - from website orders to choosing who will model upcoming fashions. And, when she?s not on her computer hatching out designs, you?ll find Veronica in class, as she?s also a part-time student at her local community college, Mt. San Antonio.

Though there might be competitors who have tried to gain some of her market, Veronica prides herself on the excellent client reputation she has earned along with the quality of her clothing and unique designs that have set her apart, especially with proclamations like ?Eat, Sleep, Play, Poop?. Veronica is also working with local charities to help develop relationships with community organizations in Southern California and expand her fashion line to include maternity clothes in the near future.

Though the majority of her business is generated through her online storefront,, Veronica also makes her presence at local festivals, events and car shows.
