The culture that has spawned TV shows, advertising antics, niche magazines and thousands of entrepreneurial ventures will take center stage at the Lowrider Nationals Summer Slam 2005, one of the largest car show events in the nation, on Sunday, August 7, 2005 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Kern County Fairgrounds.
This one-of-a-kind urban car culture event features cash prizes, trophies and awards for the best custom hydraulic cars, bikes and regular show cars in seven National title categories: Single Pump Car, Single Pump Truck, Double Pump Car, Double Pump Truck, Luxury, Car Dancer and Truck Dancer.
The 2005 event will mark the introduction of the ?Bucket of the Year? contest where one lucky winner will win over $1,000 of prizes including a stereo and auto body and paint to suit up their everyday car.

The Lowrider Nationals, founded in 1996, present a Lowrider car show that captures the essence of the Lowrider spirit.
