Do You Have What It Takes?

mun2 on the Road is coming to Anaheim, California on Tuesday August 30th to kick off the search for an on-air VJ for a new program on mun2, the cable network that celebrates the lifestyle of U.S. Latino youth. Presented by Toyota Tacoma and free to the public, the concert event will feature hot, up and coming Latino artists and will be held at JC Fandango?s at 1086 N. State College in Anaheim, CA.

Hosted by mun2 personality and DJ, Frankie Needles, the main attraction will be the live musical performances by the following confirmed artists: Akwid, Crooked Stilo, Julio Voltio, La Sinfonia and Yo Yai.

On-site, a booth will audition potential VJs. ?We?re looking for someone who lives and breathes the Latin youth movement?someone who is proud to be Latino and of course, someone who loves our culture?s music!? said Vicky Cabildo, Director of Talent and Artist Relations for mun2 television.

mun2 on the Road brings urban Latin music to its fans, while giving Latin artists the opportunity to feature their talent and have direct contact with their audience. As part of Toyota?s sponsorship and on-going support of urban Latin music and its fans, the event will continue to promote the ?Mixin? La Musica? sweepstakes sponsored by Toyota. This national sweepstakes is offering one lucky winner the chance to be a VJ on mun2, which is taped at mun2 studios. For more information, visit www.toyotamixin.com.

Doors open at 8:00 pm, and entrance is limited to those 21 and older, on a first come, first serve basis. To find out more about the event, log onto www.mun2tv.com.

mun2 is the cable network that celebrates the lifestyle of all U.S. Latino youth and has been providing its audience with relevant entertainment content since its launch in October, 2001. mun2 is distributed to over 10 million U.S. households. The network is part of NBCU Cable Networks and a division of Telemundo, which is wholly-owned and operated by NBC Universal.
