Special Olympics is a year-round sports organization that changes lives by promoting understanding, acceptance and inclusion between people with and without intellectual disabilities. With more than 170 million people worldwide, people with intellectual disabilities make up the largest disability population in the world.
Today, there are more than 15 million Latin people with intellectual disabilities and Special Olympics is only serving 154,000 of those individuals who could experience the many benefits the Movement has to offer.
