Well, this Chicana artist will be at the Folk Tree to sign the 2006 Chicano Art Calendar & at the opening reception at Carlotta's Passion on Saturday & at Temple Siani - Glendale for their Chanukah & Gift Fair on Sunday.

The fee for the Christmas Sale will be $100.00 per vendor & limited to 27 handmade art/craft vendors in the upstairs in the Self-Help Graphics hall. You will be given a table space of 6' x 30" max, with 3-4 feet of space behind table (for chairs, racks &/or storage). The deadline for payment is November 30, 2005, by 3p.m. Set up on day of the event, December 11, 2005, between 9-11 a.m. Spaces will be given & located depending on items sold. You are required to show a sample of the hand-made art or craft. Samples can be photos (hand delivered must call for time), a website link or JPG's emailed to roxy91605@yahoo.com. RuthAnne Tarletz & Eduardo Rocha Soto, who have earned an LA Treasures Award for this workshop/presentation in 2003, 2004 & 2005 will lead preHispanic style Collar Workshop. Youth are encouraged to attend. Each participant will learn how to wire-wrapped a pendant & bead a collar in the preHispanic style. Materials & tools supplied. This year's presentation is entitled: Aztec Suns & Jewish Stars - Taxco Jewelry - A Melding of Cultures. Following the presentation is a blessing of the Virgen de Guadalupe altar & a short reception for the Altar/Exhibit.
