A Poem

Today I saw, I smelled, I felt, I heard, I learned

Today I painted an Angel's Wing
Today I forgave my sister and asked her
to forgive me for everything
Today I took a deep breath and let out a sigh
Today I smelled the wet earth after a thunderstorm
Today I felt the gentle rain on my face
Today I smelled a fresh cut flower
Today I saw a tree split in half by lightning
I saw a rabbit with a white tail running in the bushes
I saw red, yellow, green, orange, brown leaves
I saw a spider web
I saw people rushing to work to pay their taxes
I saw a woman walking to work
I saw two men playing golf
A Woman walking her dog
I heard a woman in ecstasy
Today I cried
Today my body doesn?t hurt as much
Today I feel alive
Today I feel good
Today I learned to FORGIVE!
