Framed, New & Vintage Work

The Exhibition Print Program is composed of framed, new and vintage art work from our permanent collection. Self-Help Graphics & Art has produced the largest collection of Chicano artprints in history and is nationally and internationally recognized as the resource for Chicano art. The Exhibiton Print Program includes work in all printmaking mediums.

Self-Help Graphics & Art has exhibited to local, regional, national and international audiences. The Exhibition Print Program offers a yearly expanding selection of suites in various sizes. They suites range in themesfrom political prints to works reflecting the spirituality of the community. Our local focus, has been to present work in non-traditional sites, and to under served segments of the community which would otherwise not have the opportunity to enjoy this extraordinary art experience. The Exhibition Print Program, also enables Self-Help Graphics & Art to show the work of local artists in key exhibits, such as those in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Armand Hammer Museum and several other noteworthy museums, galleries and art centers. This year, we would like to extend the exhibition of our collection to your office and home.

How the Program Works: During an initial consultation, we will discuss availabitlity of suites, theme preference, length of exhibtion and rental price. If the prints are to sent out the Los Angeles Area there will be an additional shipping fee, otherwise delivery is available. We ask that you request art work, with at least a few months in advance, to insure accessibility. With notice we can also provide didactic panels and artist's biographical data. Finally, to make sure your exhibition is complete, we may arrange for participating artists to present themselves at the opening of your exhibition. Reservations are currently available for Hispanic Heritage Month, September, and Day of the Dead October-November 2006.

Please contact Roxana Arana, Exhibition Program Coordinator, at (323) 881-6444, to schedule an exhibition date, image samples or any further questions.
