Todos Unidos / White Suburbia

This morning I got up and decided to check out one of my favorite web site, LatinoLA,
to see what's going on this weekend.

Thought I'd take my boys to a Cinco de Mayo happening.

Things been a little too serious lately, with all the marchas and controversy, different points of views and opinions.

They are young children I don't want to burden them with too much.

I do my best to, responsibility, learn from life by doing and by what you see with your own two eyes.

I ran across this: "A Day Without an Illegal Immigrant" by a former law enforcement officer, award winning journalist (

This award-winning journalist sounds like a Minutemen cheerleader.

...Illegal immigrant?s attempt to flex their fiscal muscle to show their newfound political clout. It was almost like a gay pride, ?We?re here, we?re queer?,? chant, instead it was, ?We?re here, we?re illegal, but not for long!...

...As a Latino living in Sherman Oaks, in the San Fernando Valley. Yup, business as usual?traffic, talk radio, cell phone conversations and My Starbucks coffee. Well gee, Sherman Oaks hardly knew anything out of the ordinary was happening...

No amigo, no one is flexing any muscle and it was nothing like a Gay Pride parade.

May 1 is about the working class people that help build this great nation. Legal, illegal, immigrants, migrants - documentados, indocumentados, residentes, ciudadanos - Todos Unidos!

White Suburbia

Just got back from my morning walk
White suburbia smells like garlic and dog crap
Everything is so clean, generic: all the houses look the same, manicured gardens...Boring
Bitches walking their their hundred dollar jogging suits and tennis shoes, with their puffed out lips, Botox and Restalin injected stretched out faces...bleached
out dry hair and fake tits...fake tans... fake nails...
fake asses and noses.
Your fucken poodles have better lives than a lot of children
in this world and your spoiled rotten kids who know no limits
who want more-the latest version of everything
Name brand clothes, shoes, hats, purses
Growing up to be selfish spoiled ass holes just like YOU
Pisses me off
Breaks my heart to see children suffer
No food
No toys
Not even a mommy to tell them I love you
or kiss them good night
