How It All Came Together

I would like to open this up with a tremendous thank you to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the many blessings that he has bestowed upon us, to our family, friends and fans. Nothing so far would have been possible without them, and our gratitude knows no boundaries.

Our fan base is growing and the Night Flight management and band members thought it would be a good idea to present this to keep our current and future supporters informed about us, as many have asked, ?Who are you guys??, among many other questions.

We are a band of talented & dedicated Los Angeles area veteran musicians. We strive to maintain a very high energy level during each and every musical performance. NFII?s energy is easily projected into the audience through our stage performance. Our stimulating music mix goes from Latin/Latin Jazz to Classic Rock, from R&B, Old School to Top 40 to Cumbias and Oldies. We also perform some wonderful love ballads. Whatever we play, we enjoy playing for the audience that loves music, and loves to dance. The more fun they have, the more fun we have. Isn?t that the way life should be?

How it all came together:

Night Flight II is the evolutionary product of Danny Cameron's original Night Flight Band of the 1980's, which was a hard core Latin/Fusion Jazz band that has crossed over to the top 40-Dance/Club scene with growing success twenty five years later.

Both Peter Jaramillo (drummer/band manger) and Danny Cameron (lead guitar/musical director) had a vision about a year and a half ago to put together one the best hardcore ?shake your booty? dance bands in Southern California with the same name resulting in Night Flight II (the sequel). At the onset, both Danny and I put together a strategic game plan and have worked it diligently and are now bearing the fruits of our dream... and it?s like a dream come true.

The task of putting together a group of musicians with the same goals and the same musical desire is almost impossible, as any good veteran band will tell you. It all started in late 2004 trying to find the right caliber of musicianship. It has not been easy and it is a process of change that continues to this day! It all came to fruition in early February of 2005. Joining the group is Ronnie Robles on keys, Eddie Segura on bass (aka Face the Bass, FTB), Bekkie Macartney lead vocals and J-Everrete with lead vocals. We put together a demo pack and Night Flight II was introduced. Individually, members of Night Flight II have performed along side artist such as: Earth Wind & Fire, Cool & the Gang, Average White Band, Joe Cocker, Jeffery Osborne, Burt Bacharach, Tito Puente, and Poncho Sanchez, just to name a few.

It is becoming rare to find a band with the musical diversity that is performed by Night Flight II. The band is proud of the fact that it can deliver a very powerful product on request. If anyone ever wanted to see a team in action, listen to the payoff of many rehearsals, and feel the synergy of individuals expressing their love of music, then I invite you and yours to attend a live performance. We are proud to say that NFII is a passionate group of musicians with a professional business approach, who love what they do on stage.

We are fully aware that in Southern California there are so many exceptionally talented party/club bands to choose from, and we are indeed fortunate to be in such good company, but we ask that you not miss out on ?Night Flight II?, and give us a chance to win your hearts!
