For the first time, the world?s most exciting city will celebrate the very best in Latin Music at Las Vegas Caliente, America?s premier multi-genre Latin music event. Las Vegas Caliente will be held on Friday, August 11 and Saturday, August 12 at various venues throughout Las Vegas, and will feature legendary Salsa, Mariachi, Mexican Regional, Reggaeton, and Latin Jazz artists.

?We are excited to host the first of its kind Latin music event in the city that is known for its around-the-clock entertainment. Nowhere else will you find such a wide range of Latin music in a single city,? says associate producer, Javier Trujillo.

Las Vegas Caliente features 14 bands in four exciting Las Vegas venues offering something for every musical taste. Salsa Vegas at the Stardust Hotel and Casino will play host to Salsa legends El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Jose Alberto ?El Canario?, Yari Mor?, and the new Reggaeton sensation, Manana de Havana. Viva Vegas at Cox Pavilion welcomes national favorites Banda El Limon, Los Freddy?s, Nestor Daniel y Los Terricolas, La Internacional Sonora Show and La Revolucion de Emiliano Zapata. Mariachi Vegas at Cashman Theater will showcase the grand Mariachi artists Mariachi Plata, Suzette Marquez, Zulema Villela and Mexico Vivo and the smooth musical style of Rick Arroyo and the Latin Jazz Ensemble will be headlining Latin Jazz Vegas at Mandalay Bay?s House of Blues.

Hispanics are currently the fastest growing segment of U.S. tourism and studies show that Las Vegas is their preferred leisure destination. ?I love coming to Las Vegas because the fun never stops. When the shows are finished, there?s so much to do it?s hard to find time to sleep!? says Nuria Martinez, a Los Angeles native that visits Las Vegas several times a year. ?I?m so happy to know that finally someone has put together an event that features so many types of Latin music. I plan to attend the Salsa concert with my boyfriend, and my sister is coming to see her favorite Regional Mexican acts.?

Las Vegas Caliente is produced by Worldwide Vegas in association with Telemundo. Online tickets are available through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) and the UNLV ticket office (www.unlvtickets.com).
