JAGME Foundation and the City of Lynwood present for the first time in Southern California: FESTIVAL DE VERANO. An outdoor festival for all the family with the musical performances by singers of La Academia USA: Mariana (Winner), Gustavo (2nd Place) & Yoshigei (Finalist). Exclusive performance of To?ita, winner of TV Azteca?s Desafi? de Estrellas, Wendolee from 1st Generation and the controversial showman from La Academia 4th Generation; Edgar.

This event will take place on Saturday, August 12 in the Lynwood City Park located on Bullis Rd and Martin Luther King, from 12 pm until 7pm.

JAGME Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prompt development of neighborhoods and self-sufficient, healthy families. ?I grew up volunteering for the church, spent many summers as a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Hospital and continued through the parks, community and now I have been able to serve as a public official. I support all non-profits, specially the ones that concentrate in our youth - our future. ?, comments Maria Santillan, Councilwoman of the City of Lynwood.

La Academia its one of the most popular reality shows in Mexico and the US, this school of high performance, have give birth to great performers. To?ita from 1st Generation, is one of the most popular and beloved artist by the audience. With two albums on the market and winner of TV Azteca?s Desafio de Estrellas, has been consolidated as one of the favorites and Wendolee from the same generation.

The controversial Edgar from La Academia 4th Generation will present an energetic and original show, being one of the most popular and persecuted young artist by the media and the fans.

On 2006, TV Azteca presented by the first time La Academia USA, version that was televised exclusively in the United States. This reality had one of the highest ratings in Spanish television in the country which winner was Mariana; Singer whose voice and personality have been placed as one of the promises in the Latin popular music scene. Along with Gustavo winner of the second place and born in the popular OC and Yoshigei, native from South Gate proudly represent a generation of artist which have a place on the hearts and taste of the Latin audience in the United States
