Getting By With a Little Help From Your Friends

Coming at you live, in the City of Angels, from the Land of 1000 Dances, one of the United State's most beloved Latin Soul music icon's puts on one last show on the West Coast for 2007, at one of L.A.'s most favorite night spots.

Mr. Bataan Nitollano, better known as the King of Latin Soul, Mr. JOE BATAAN, returns to L.A. one last time on October 21st, performing with one of California's most recently recognized Chicano music groups de Aztlan, THE KOOL KATZ, at the world renown WHITTIER RADISSON HOTEL GRAND BALLROOM.

Popular Internet Radio DJ's FRANKIE FIRME and "Mr. CHICO" MANQUEROS will serve as co-hosts and Masters of Ceremony.

In a north to south music blitz that will surely unite us all on this weekend, the powerful partnership of Mr. Steven Chavez of the RAMPART Records/East L.A. Revue Group, Mr. Bennie Najar Jr. of Finance2Sell.com, Mr. Peter Jaramillo of the Jaramillo Entertainment Group, and LatinoLA makes this all possible for the lucky Gente on the West Coast.

Starting up in Northern California's AVALON Club in Santa Clara on Saturday night, ending with 2 shows at Whittier's Radisson Hotel Grand Ballroom on an early Sunday evening, the Gente will treated to some of the finest Chicano dancing music on earth.

Sunday, starting at 3:pm, along with free secured parking, a no-host buffet until 4:pm, CD's , T-shirts,souvenirs, 2 full bars, and a large ballroom dance floor in an elegant setting, luxury hotel rooms will be available at a special discount rate in direct connection with this event.

Originally from Spanish Harlem, New York, Joe Bataan has been a staple in the Chicano Oldies & Latin Soul menu for over 35 years, rivaling only TIERRA's Salas Brothers, and MALO's Arcelio Garcia as true veteranos and keepers of "The Brown Sound" longevity of Latino Rock, R&B, Oldies, Funk, and Soul, still able to fill dance floors and make new fans everywhere they go.

Coming at you from San Jose, California, the fresh, hot sounds of THE KOOL KATZ's "rock, chili, and roll" have been a major Los Angeles music discovery of East L.A. Revue Radio DJ Eric " Mr. Chico" Manqueros, who met them a few years ago during a business trip up north. Featuring the dynamic performances of the husband-wife team of guitarist Art Galvan and vocalist Kelly Galvan, the KOOL KATZ's 12 piece Chicano orchestra put on a great show that also fills dance floors wherever they go.

Originally scheduled for one blockbuster show,a quick sellout of reserve tables and general admission tickets have prompted the sponsors and artists to agree to provide a second special, albeit shorter, encore performance at the request of the Joe Bataan Fan Club and many fans shortly after the first show. Special discount rate and limited seating is available for this show as well for the earliest callers.
