Tito a 27 year-old Mexican hopeful of Protagonistas de la Musica (Telemundo's version of "American Idol" meets "Big Brother") has demonstrated his natural ability for music. In episode after episode he has symbolized a continence of piece in the Protagonista de la Musica house in Florida.
In the middle of short lived romances, alliances and competitions, dream seeking, and entertaining Latinos all over America, Tito has maintained his individuality throughout this competition.
In the commencing episode of Protagonistas de la Musica, Tito thanked the judges for selecting him as one of the 14 finalist by saying that in life he was not good for anything other than stardom. Tito has proven this during his stay in the Protagonista house by ranking high numbers in competitions week after week and genre after genre of music. Tito is a true Protagonista, and more importantly a true individual.
In one episode, Tito shared that he is a Mexican immigrant living in Los Angeles, and that he has worked in a series of odd jobs including roofing and painting. He shared that winning this competition will be a double victory for him, first for himself and second for immigrants here in Los Angeles pursuing a better life. His winning will be a symbol that it is possible and that it could happen to anyone.
Judging by appearance Tito looks like one of the most spiritual competitors, but it is his actions and his words which give him that air of wisdom. Tito has been a kind friend to his adversaries, including some of the most underhanded characters in the house. You better watch it, boy!
Well, I thought I would express my support for such a unique individual in hopes that he may come across my words.
All the best to you Tito. You are already a true Protagonista de la Musica regardless of the outcome of that silly little show.
Protagonistas de la Musica is shown on Mondays at 8 pm on Telemundo.
