Mun2 will feature Prima J in a multiplatform campaign including the original series ‘«£Prima J: Inside Out‘«ō, coverage on holamun2.com and ‘«£The Shuffle‘«ō, as well as an in-studio performance of a new song.

Telemundo unveiled its new research facility, the Pulse Research Center, located at Universal City Walk in Los Angeles. The center is equipped for focus groups, interviews and is linked with Nielsen ViewerCast research sites across the country.

The mayor of Lo Prado, Chile, a small town south of Santiago, announced plans to distribute free Viagra to men over 60 in an effort to improve their quality of life. The idea came after hearing many men in the town complain about their sex lives.

The ongoing legal battle between Grupo Televisa and Univision went to trial this week in Los Angeles. Grupo Televisa claims that Univision has cheated them out of $100 million in royalties and is requesting an exit from their programming agreement, which currently ends in December 2017.

The Latino Commission on AIDS will hold its annual Cielo Latino event on May 13th in New York.

A request for the extradition to Argentina of former President Isabel Peron was rejected by the Spanish National Court. The request was made in reference to charges of human rights abuses against the former leader during her term in 1976. The court ruled that the charges were not crimes against humanity and the statute of limitations expired after 20 years.

Luis Roldan was appointed as Senior VP and General Manager of SBS‘«÷ Mega TV in Puerto Rico. Roldan was formerly President and GM at WKAQ-TV, Puerto Rico‘«÷s Telemundo affiliate station.

LATV will hold its upfront presentation on May 1st in New York City, presenting its offerings for the upcoming season.

Brazil is considering a bill to require permits for foreigners to visit the Amazon in order to prevent foreign meddling and illegal activity. Those caught without permission would be subject to fines of up to $60,000.

Cuban leader Raul Castro announced that all death sentences will be changed to prison terms of 30 years to life. The only exception to the decree is the sentences of three people charged with terrorism.
