Radio Ink presented its Medallas de Cortez awards at the Hispanic Radio Conference last week. Raul Alarcon, Jr., President/Chairman/CEO of SBS, accepted the lifetime achievement award on behalf of his father, Raul Alarcon, Sr. Gary Stone, President/COO of Univision Radio, was honored as Broadcaster of the Year, while WSKQ in New York won Station of the Year in Markets 1-10, and Maria Marin, host of ABC Radio Networks "Tu Vida es mi Vida", was named Personality of the Year in markets 1-10.

Daniel Brailovsky, ‘«£El Ruso‘«ō, will rejoin the ESPN Deportes team of commentators for the show ‘«£Futbol Picante‘«ō after taking a break from the station to coach Mexico‘«÷s Club America team.
