The NYILFF (New York International Latino Film Festival) announced this year‘«÷s complete lineup of films and events. John McCain has launched a new Spanish-language radio ad airing in Nevada and New Mexico called ‘«£Our Values‘«ō. The voiceover is done by McCain‘«÷s former roommate at the U.S. Naval Academy, Frank Gamboa.
According to recent data from Nielsen Monitor Plus, ad spending on Spanish-language cable in 2007 was up 76% over 2006 to $220.7 million. Much of the jump can be attributed to mun2 and Fox Sports en Espa??ol being added to the mix. Without the addition of these two networks, the increase would have been 32%.
Disney is set to release ‘«£High School Musical: El Desafio‘«ō, which has been produced for Mexico and Argentina with Brazil to follow later. Each version features a local cast, its own distinct script and soundtrack. The film releases July 17th in Argentina and September 5th in Mexico.
