Operation Wounded Warrior 2008

The American Legion Riders are ready to hit the road again and they need our support. American Legion Riders of Arizona are leaving from Queen Creek, Arizona on October 2, 2008, and taking Operation Wounded Warrior to our injured soldiers located at Balboa Naval Station and Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital in Southern California.

Their mission is to thank as many as they can for their sacrifices to our great nation and to try to supply them with any health and comfort items they may need. Operation Wounded Warrior is a non-profit organization under 501(C). Their goal is to provide items needed by service personnel wounded in battle and presently in our hospitals and personally welcome them home. For more information, please contact at operationwoundedwarrior.org. Our contact representative in California is Marleen Aparicio at 818.890.4611 or email marleenowwca@cs.com.

Please support this worthy and patriotic effort by the American Legion Riders of Arizona. They have chapters in California, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas. Besides the Balboa and Camp Pendleton Naval Hospitals, the OWW visits the Brooks Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.

We can help by never forgetting our wounded and by helping them and their families in any and every way possible. We can also help by providing health and comfort items for them. Cash donations are also accepted and are tax deductible. We have asked our musical leaders to provide CDs or live performances and have received a fair response. Please support now and forever.
