One Long Night

I am contacting you regarding my soon-to-be released Latino Independent film. "One Long Night", or "Una Larga Noche" a dark dramedy about self discovery and the challenges of being of mixed heritage descent in America.

Set in 1994 at the height of California Governor Pete Wilson's administration, during the ugly struggle over a controversial proposition that tore apart the Mexican and Anglo American communities -- One Long Night is the story of a simple, conservative, half-Mexican half-Caucasian businessman trying to survive an insane night lost in Mexico City among the drag queens, crooked cops, gangsters and femme fatales.

It stars Jon Seda (Selena, Bad Boys II), Actor/Comedian Paul Rodriguez (Blood work, World's Fastest Indian), Mexican actress/singer Itat?¡ Cantoral (Tired of Kissing Frogs, Pajarracos), Mexican film icon Pedro Armendariz (Legend Of Zorro, Old Gringo) Oscar-nominated actress Karen Black (Five Easy Pieces, Day of The Locusts), Ed Begley Jr. (Batman Forever, Renaissance Man ), Alison Eastwood (Poolhall Junkies, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil) Hector Suarez Gomis and Norte??o music singing super star Lupillo Rivera..

The film is scheduled for a limited theatrical run in in Los Angeles, San Diego and possibly Arizona, and if we do well we may extend the number of theaters in Chicago and New York. We are being distributed by Vivendi-Universal and we will be the first Latino themed film to ever be released in video simultaneously in English, Spanish and Blu-Ray HD technology.

The red carpet Premiere has been slated for Friday, February 13 at Laemmle's Showcase theater in the corner of La Brea and Melrose in Hollywood. Purchase tickets by clicking here.
