From the 15,201-person town of Sunnyside, Washington, Kristina Guerrero made her way to Hollywood to pursue a longtime dream of reporting on the biggest entertainment news stories to audiences around the world. Recently inducted into the E! Entertainment family, Guerrero is the first Latina to work as a regular correspondent for E! News.
Shortly after her LA arrival at the age of 18, Kristina, like most new Angelenos, found herself with no funds, contacts or residence. Instead of moving home, she applied to University of Southern California to study journalism.
The school offered her a free education, during which Guerrero secured an internship at LA's FOX KTTV and climbed her way from latte-hunter to field producer.
After graduating USC with a B.A., she landed her first big gig as co-host of The Rub, a relationship talk show, on SiTV network. This led to an opportunity as a guest correspondent for Access Hollywood, during which she interviewed Jim Carrey, Kirk Douglas and other high-profile celebrities.
Kristina moved to San Antonio, Texas, to host her own CBS morning talk show, Great Day S.A., for which she received a local Emmy nomination.
In addition, she was also served as guest co-host on the Adam Corolla radio show and the spokesperson for Latina magazine's 10th anniversary campaign.
Like most people destined for Los Angeles who try setting somewhere else, Kristina was pulled back into Hollywood bubble after a couple years in Texas to be an entertainment correspondent for Inside Edition.
Now a regular on E! News, Kristina is sent on assignment daily to catch up with celebrities on their latest endeavors and helps keep the world's finger on the pulse of the entertainment industry. She is the first Latina on the E! Channel, she is the correspondent for E! News with Ryan Seacrest and is a co-host for the Daily 10.
