El Verde: Viva La Frita has been selling like mad at Casa 0101 these last few weeks, and audiences and critics are raving about this production.
Like fleas on a dog and bees to a hive, people are jumping to this show and buzzing about it.
"It was great!"
"I couldn't stop laughing."
"I can't believe she (bleep)-en did that!"
"OMG! No she didn't."
"Frita is crazy good."
El Verde's reach is going far and wide, and who knows where and when it will stop. El Verde must close at Casa 0101 on Sunday, August 30th, 2009 - to make way for another exciting show, Thy Kingdom Come, and to get ready for performances of El Verde: Origins (or El Verde vs. La Quinceanera) at the Miles Playhouse with Teada.
So, before EV leaves Casa 0101, do as Yareli Arizmendi (A Day Without a Mexican) says, "Let El Verde crash into your world and rock it!" Because, "Going green will take on a different meaning."
This weekend only (August 21, 22, 23), wearing green means you get $3 off the general admission price (pay $12 instead of $15) for El Verde: Viva La Frita. For more information visit www.casa0101.org. Reservations at email@example.com.
This production is made possible by donations from The Gas Company, Cholo Chaplin, Tiny Team (yeah!), LA Zoo Association, and viewers like YOU! See you at the show. Wear the Verde!!!
