After almost three years of launching their first album, brother and sister musical duo, Jesse & Joy are now releasing their new album Electricidad, one of the most anticipated productions of the year following the ample success obtained with their first album in Mexico, USA and the rest of the Spanish-speaking countries. The album went on sale in September under Warner Musica Latina and the first single "Adios" is already on the top of the radio and video charts.
Electricidad remains faithful to the duo's fresh and dynamic style while reflecting their musical and melodic maturity after the launch of their first album. This one offers a rich and playful mix of styles blended with their very particular pop-melody that can only be found in their music. With accents that range from country to folk to electronic, Jesse & Joy reaffirm in this album how they feel about love, hope, sadness and happiness. Electricidad is literally made of eleven of the ways Jesse & Joy feel turned into songs.
In "Electricidad," the song that gives title to the album, Joy's surprises the listener with a majestic and solid tone interlaced with guitar and rock percussion hints that turn into a strong and individual reflection of what sentimental relationships are.
Electricidad was recorded in Los ?üngeles, California with the help of hit maker producer Thom Russo, who has worked with artists such as Michael Jackson, Juanes, Man?í, Eric Clapton and Johnny Cash to name a few, and co-produced by Jesse Huerta.
