L.A. County Arts Commission Launches Summer Intern Program

Undergraduate students are now being offered opportunities for job internships this summer, thanks to the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.

The L.A. County Arts Commission internship program provides undergraduate students with meaningful on-the-job training and experience in working in nonprofit arts organizations, while assisting arts organizations to develop future arts leaders.

Non-profit arts organizations in Los Angeles are encouraged to participate, to hire interns for the summer of 2010. Along with internships, grants will also be given to successful applicant organizations. The grants will be used to pay the interns.

Grants range from $2,500 to $3,000 depending on the budget of the non-profit based organizations who participate in the program. All organizations that are interested in this program should review all of the guidelines before participating.
