Frida the Play

My friends Diane, Derya, Ana.and I Decided on a girls night out.

We agreed to go watch the Frida play at the Frida Kahlo Theater in Los Angeles.

We are all Frida fans and have seen the movie numerous times.

But the play gives Frida a new dimension as a woman and as an artist, a revolutionary in her own right.

Must-see OUTstanding performance by Minerva Garcia as Frida and Richard Azurdia as Diego Rivera.

Frida is given yet a new perspective to her life.

The play flows beautifully, is well-told and well-acted in two acts. One can feel Frida's passion through Minerva Garcia's performance: Cute and adorable at times, cold and bitter as life itself.

The play will run through May 2, 2010.

Parking is free next to the Theater
